I build products and the systems used to build them.

Over the past two decades, I've worked at the intersection of product and engineering: building things, leading teams, and scaling systems. Three successful equity exits along the way: Mi8 (CTO, New York, acquired for $21M), Rackspace (VP, San Antonio), and Klarna (VP, Stockholm).

At Klarna, I helped chart a path forward for the original Erlang monolith, led multiple domains (risk, servicing, banking, card issuing) and was part of the team that developed the new operating model to scale into new markets. We secured the banking license and performed one of the fastest integrations to the Swedish banking system ever recorded. Got the Klarna Card launched.

At Rackspace, I started as VP Software Architecture and moved into product as Cloud Product Line Leader. I created Keystone, the identity service for OpenStack, and served as its initial project lead.

Throughout my career, I've toggled between employment and self-employment. Between Mi8, Rackspace, and Klarna, I took on consulting projects that kept my skills sharp and my perspective broad.

Today, my focus is different. Low-level code generation is largely solved — but production-grade systems thinking, DevOps, and architectural discipline are not. Defining product, user experience, and interface remains an open field. And getting autonomous AI to diligently abide by constraints — without human review at every step — is an ongoing, unsolved challenge.

I'm building systems that address this: not just translating intent into code, but encoding the constraints that keep products stable over time, meeting user expectations consistently — not one-shot after one-shot.
